- 10:13 AM: Stand by - we will be livetweeting from the Google I/O conference shortly
- 10:18 AM: Andy Rubin is onstage now. "Welcome to the keynote"
- 10:19 AM: He's listing some numbers now... 69, 420, 666, 1488, 9001, 58008... not sure what they mean
- 10:21 AM: As expected, Google is abandoning Android and will focus on proprietary Google Phone OS (GooPhOS)
- 10:28 AM: First Motorola-produced GooPhOS devices will launch in Q7... not sure when that is
- 10:32 AM: Sergey Brin is flying into the auditorium on a jetpack
- 10:33 AM: Brin having some difficulties with the jetpack...
- 10:35 AM: Landed
- 10:37 AM: "I wanted to give you all a sneak preview of something very cool"
- 10:39 AM: Staffers are handing out bright colorful cubes to everyone in the audience; "This is the Google Cube" says Brin
- 10:42 AM: Google Cube does not appear to be a device of any kind, it's a solid porcelain cube
- 10:47 AM: Holding a red Google Cube - I'd say it's about 20-30 pounds
- 10:51 AM: They're playing a video about the design of Google Cube... Donald Judd is mentioned frequently
- 10:54 AM: Talking about pricing now... price of Google Cube will be "comparable" to other cubes
- 10:56 AM: "One additional thing" says Brin
- 10:59 AM: Google glasses are being handed out now
- 11:02 AM: These aren't the "Project Glass" glasses from that concept video, these are novelty glasses that look like the Google logo
- 11:06 AM: You look through the little o's ... like one of those New Years glasses. Brin is demonstrating a pair
- 11:10 AM: Brin introducing Eric Schmidt now
- 11:12 AM: Eric Schmidt just drove onstage in one of those self-driving cars, not sure if that's even legal
- 11:14 AM: "I've got some bad news to report"
- 11:17 AM: Contrary to all the rumors, Google will NOT be releasing a Google-branded tablet
- 11:19 AM: "We were completely blindsighted by Microsoft Surface... we're going back to the drawing board"
- 11:25 AM: Schmidt clearly said "blindsighted" not "blindsided"... check the tape @bag_wearer #GoogleIO
- 11:28 AM: Schmidt just looks really depressed... clearly upset about the tablet thing

- 11:52 AM: Page demoing Google2... it looks exactly like Google?
- 11:55 AM: Larry Page can't type very well with his new robot claw...thing. Nobody wants to say anything

- 12:01 PM: Google+ team is onstage now... they're all dressed in black hooded cloaks #GoogleIO
- 12:02 PM: They appear to be chanting an anthem of some sort... unsure what language, sounds like latin #GoogleIO
