Well the Apple Watch is here and it is a beaut. I put it onto my wrist and I thought, wow this is the future. We're living in the future, now.

Jony Ive and the design people at Apple HQ have really outdone themselves this time, this is one of the most beautiful gizmos I've ever seen. I hate to nitpick but some of the design comes at the cost of functionality, the see-through plastic part is easily scratchable. But still, though, it is a quite nice achievement.

I've only been wearing the Apple Watch for 20 minutes and already I can't imagine my life without it. Look's like it's "time" for you to get a new watch ;-)

Overall I rate the Apple Watch 9 out of 10 points

Pro's:

• Tells time
• Rugrats-themed
• Says "A baby's gotta do what a baby's gotta do" when you push the button
• Good colour scheme

Con's:

• Plastic is easily scratchable
• Batteries hard to replace
• Have to manually change time for Daylight Savings Time

Who knows, maybe this will be the phone that catches on and saves Nokia and makes Windows Phone a viable alternative to the iOS/Android duopoly. Probably not, though.

Enter Fuselighter.

Launched late last year, Fuselighter is essentially a version of Kickstarter that allows anyone the ability to garner financing for terrorism through the miracle of crowdfunding. Backers can donate any amount of money, whether it be 5 cents or 5 million. There are also reward tiers for backers who pledge a certain amount - a shoutout in a manifesto, perhaps, or their name written in blood.

"I watched a TED Talk about crowdfunding and micropayments and all that, and I knew this could be applied to terrorism," said Fuselighter's founder, Mokhar al-Zargerburq, who at 20 is already a member of Pakistan's tech elite. "Before we came along, the money would come from a couple big backers, you know, sometimes a state. What Fuselighter does is disrupt the whole model and re-paradigm it for the 21st century. It makes terrorism accessible to anyone."

What's the secret? al-Zargerburq stressed the importance of the site's privacy and encryption features. "Couple bucks here, a few bucks there, no one will evey suspect a thing. It spreads the money around and makes it harder for the anti-disuption crowd to shut things down."

Although Fuselighter has seen a few successes, al-Zargerburq is hoping the site could fund something on a larger scale. "The potential is certainly there. We followed the Zack Braff thing on Kickstarter with keen interest. Two million dollars in less than a week. Just imagine how much terrorism that could buy."

Stuck in development hell for years, Zybourne Clock's rebirth is nothing short of miraculous. Meteoritech, the game's original developer, followed a shameful path that lead the company to two bankruptcies, mass staff defections, and a lawsuit over drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, the game faced numerous delays: scripts were continually scrapped and rewritten, and years of progress were discarded several times as the development team continually switched game engines. Eventually the team decided to build their own engine, dubbed Chronospire, which was designed from the ground up to handle the game's revolutionary time travel elements, but development was halted just three months later.

Yet Zybourne Clock's long gestation only made it more popular as it became something of a white whale for the gaming community, many of whom found themselves enthralled by the developers' promises of completely reinventing the entire gaming paradigm and the scant pieces of concept art and story fragments made publicly available. "Zybourne gave gamers everywhere something to hope for," remarked Paul Hack, a writer for Game Jolt.

Two years ago, with help from the fan community via Kickstarter, indie developer Chillaxe Studios purchased the game's source code and Chronospire engine from Meteoritech and restarted development. With this new infusion of CAPITAL, Chillaxe was able to bring in millionaire badboy authors Mark Brendle & J. Ingwit Cahill to rework the story and recruit A-list actors to provide voicework, including Neil Patrick Harris as protagonist/(spoiler) antagonist Sylus Camgroove, Ryan Gosling as brooding anti-hero Johnny Fiveaces, and Werner Herzog as the dreaded Dr. Malaprop.

During the announcement, Mattrick showed off exclusive gameplay footage of Johnny Fiveaces and his partner Schlotz escaping a zeppelin explosion, thrilling attendees who gave it a standing ovation.

Zybourne Clock will retail for $70. A collector's edition of the game will come encased in a golden egg and include a luxurious "Art of Zybourne Clock" hardcover book.
